Likeness

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Likeness ("Likeness", "we", "our", "us"), operated from New York, United States. By using the site or reserving a Founder spot, you agree to these Terms.

1. Founder reservations

A Founder reservation is a one-time non-refundable $25 deposit that locks in your founding subscription rate for life once Likeness launches. Your deposit is credited toward your first month of service.

2. Service not yet available

Likeness is in pre-launch. Reserving a spot does not entitle you to service until Likeness formally launches. If Likeness does not launch within twelve (12) months of your deposit, we will contact you at the email on file to arrange a full refund.

3. Your account

For now, we only collect your email address. When Likeness launches, we will invite you to complete your account and confirm your subscription. You are responsible for keeping your email address up to date.

4. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to abuse, disrupt, or attempt to circumvent security on our site or payment provider. Fraudulent or chargeback-abusive reservations may be voided.

5. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including the Likeness name, marks, and copy, is owned by Likeness. You may not copy, resell, or otherwise commercially exploit it without our written permission.

6. Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Likeness disclaims all warranties, express or implied.

7. Limitation of liability

Our aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to Likeness is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms as Likeness evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or on the site.
